The NNHAZ Planning Process and Development of Community Action Plans

A key feature of the work of the Health Action Zone is the development of a targeted Community Action Plan, tailored to local needs, in each partner community. The Community Action Plans reflect the NNHAZ objectives but are based upon the needs of the participating communities.

Relevant agencies, with responsibility for planning and delivering services, are invited to co-operate in implementing the Community Action Plans in partnership with the local community. Progress against the Community Action Plans is monitored and reviewed through Interagency Partnerships in each neighbourhood.

Together these 14 Community Action Plans provide the foundation for the strategic framework for NNHAZ operations.
