Ballee is on the southern outskirts of Ballymena and has approximately 750 houses. NNHAZ has been working in the Ballee area for a number of years in partnership with Ballee Community Association and Victory Praise Centre along with the other statutory and voluntary partners with a remit to provide support and servicees for the estate. The past number of years has been particularly busy for Ballee with the introduction of the Department of Social Development structures required to deliver the Neighbourhood Renewal programme in the area. Ballee, Ballykeel and Harryville have been included in the Ballymena South Neighbourhood Renewal programme as they are within the top 10% of most deprived areas in Northern Ireland. |
